1. What we collect
We only collect what the service needs to work:
- Account details: your email address and password, or your name and email if you sign in with Google. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text.
- Profile and work you add: name, headline, bio, city, skills, portfolio items, cover images and links.
- Activity you create: project briefs, applications and messages.
- Technical data: the session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security.
2. What stays on your device
Your theme choice and any creators you save are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.
3. How we use it
- To run your account and show the work you choose to publish.
- To keep FilmFolio secure and prevent misuse.
- To contact you about your account or a request you made.
4. What is public
Your profile and work become public only when you publish them. Drafts, private briefs, applications and messages are not shown publicly. Profiles and projects marked “Sample” or “Demo” are illustrative content, not real people or productions.
5. Advertising and trackers
We don’t use advertising trackers or sell your information.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, work and account data, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw consent for anything that relies on it. Email filmfolio.in@gmail.com with the subject “Data request”.
9. Age
FilmFolio is for people aged 18 and over.
10. Changes to this notice
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
